Welcoming agriturismo near Cortona

This authentic and spacious agriturismo is surrounded by sunflower fields and is located at the foot of the hills near the beautiful town of Cortona. I was welcomed by the son of the owners, Francesco. He was proud to show me around the area and I could visit all the rooms and apartments. The agriturismo is located on the borders of Tuscany and Umbria and is therefore strategically located for visits to the famous cities of these regions. Both Siena and Assisi are 60 km away, Perugia and Montalcino are about 40 km and Arezzo, Pienza and Montepulciano about 30 km away.

Pool, breakfast and restaurant

In the large garden of the agriturismo is a modest swimming pool of 6x12 metres. Each morning breakfast is served in the restaurant. Breakfast is included in the price of the B&B rooms, but not in the rent of an apartment. However, those staying in an apartment can have breakfast for a fee. If there is sufficient interest, dinner will be cooked for the guests. It is also possible to follow a cooking workshop.

Rooms and apartments

The agriturismo has 6 apartments and a number of B&B rooms. The rooms are located on the first floor and are divided into Classic, Deluxe and a Suite. They are equipped with wifi, air conditioning, TV and heating. The suite has a private kitchenette and a terrace. The spacious apartments are for two, four or six people and are located on the ground or first floor. They are all equipped with a dishwasher, oven, Wifi, TV, air-conditioning and heating.
