Luxurious wine farm near Montalcino, known for the Brunello wine

As a wine lover I also wanted to have a nice agriturismo near Montalcino, where the famous Brunello wine comes from! But it was still quite difficult to find one that met all my criteria. Until I came across this beautiful wine farm. Montalcino is only a 20 minute drive from where I live and work, so an appointment with friendly owner and winemaker Francesco was made quickly.

Pool, breakfast & wine tastings

You can call this agriturismo also a small wine resort. With a lot of attention and energy, the farm has become an elegant and luxurious holiday accommodation, but there is still a friendly atmosphere. Everything here has to do with wine, from the view of the vineyards, the smell from the wine cellar and the names of the apartments. The small resort has beautiful views of the Val d'Orcia and is located among olive groves and vineyards, just 2 kilometers from the lovely town of Montalcino. The agriturismo is still a real family business and is managed by two brothers and a sister.

The apartments are located a few hundred meters from the wine cellar and are completely built in an authentic Tuscan style. The interiors are contemporary and equipped with all modern comforts.

The agriturismo has a beautiful infinity pool with a shallow end, jacuzzi and a panoramic sun terrace with sunbeds. On request there are wine tastings and you can try different vintages of their Brunello. It is also possible to have breakfast in the accommodation. Just 2 kilometers from the agriturismo is a good restaurant with local dishes where they serve the wines of the wine farm. They will be happy to reserve a table for you!

5 stylishly furnished apartments

The wine farm has five apartments of different sizes. The apartments are cosily furnished and equipped with air conditioning, wifi, satellite TV and minibar, of course filled with delicious wines! All apartments have a private outdoor area, with table and chairs. The kitchens are practical and functional (like a two-burner induction hob).

Ideal for lovers of comfort and good wines

This is a beautiful and luxurious wine farm in the Brunello area, near the charming town of Montalcino. From my own experience I can say that there are nice terraces, bars and restaurants to taste the real Italian life!

This agriturismo is a perfect base to discover the beautiful Val d’Orcia and the rest of the southern part of Tuscany. A must for lovers of comfort and good wines!
