Apartments in Tuscany with restaurant, breakfast and cocktail bar

Agriturismos with an on-site restaurant are pretty hard to find. So when I came across this “Borgo,” I immediately got enthusiastic. Especially since the restaurant not only has an extensive menu, but also a cocktail bar with a beautiful panoramic terrace! I could already see myself sitting here with a good glass of wine or a well-prepared cocktail, enjoying the beautiful view.

I was warmly welcomed by the owners, who are brothers of each other, and the friendly girl from the reception desk. After a pleasant conversation in the restaurant, I was given a detailed tour of the property.

Magnificent views of the rolling Tuscan countryside

The agriturismo is strategically located in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence, Arezzo and Siena. All around you have a fantastic view of the rolling Tuscan landscape with olive trees, vineyards and cypress trees. The castle consists of a few typical Tuscan stone farmhouses. In these farmhouses, which have been renovated in an authentic and beautiful way, are the comfortable apartments and suites.

10 apartments and four suites

The agriturismo has a total of four suites and 10 apartments. They are 3 apartments for 2 persons, 3 apartments for 4 persons, 3 apartments for 6 persons and 2 large apartments for 8 persons. All the apartments and suites have a private terrace or a sitting area in the garden, with table, chairs and parasol or pergola, so you can have dinner and breakfast outside. Breakfast is included in the rental price!
The apartments and suites are cozily furnished with warm colors, in Tuscan style. There is wifi on the property and the apartments have satellite TV.

Restaurant, wine bar and pools

In the garden of the agriturismo are two swimming pools: one of 17x8 meters and one of 20x7 meters. Each apartment/suite has its own pergola with loungers and beach chairs at one of the two pools.

The cozy restaurant offers every day breakfast, light lunches, aperitivo and dinners. In summer the restaurant is open every day and in low season when there is sufficient interest. Here you can taste local specialties prepared with products from the Tuscan region, including olive oil from their own production and vegetables from their own vegetable garden. The chef, Magdalena, prepares everything with love, from pasta made with ancient grains to carefully prepared meat dishes and homemade desserts. On Sundays you can enjoy a special menu of delicious antipasti and a selection of pizzas.

The cocktail bar offers a special selection of Tuscan wines, spumanti and craft cocktails made from local distillates. These are often garnished with herbs and flowers from their own gardens or forests. The aperitivo is served with delicious Tuscan tapas, a perfect way to end the day in a relaxing way.

Cooking classes also take place upon request. A fun way to learn to make your own fresh pasta, for example.

Nature, culture, Tuscan cuisine and wine

This is a comfortable and peacefully located agriturismo in the heart of Tuscany. For lovers of nature, culture, a good glass of wine or a delicious cocktail and, of course, the Tuscan cuisine! All this is framed by a beautiful hilly landscape of olive trees and vineyards.
